Caño Negro Wetlands Tour

Unique Caño Negro

Many companies visit the Caño Negro Wetlands, one of the most important wetlands and natural refuges in Costa Rica. This vast territory of wetlands, lagoons, rivers and creeks constitutes an important habitat for birds, reptiles, fish and mammals. Canoa Aventura gives you the unique chance to visit the best part of the Caño Negro Wetlands, a secret spot where most of the animals inhabit and also the part where nature is more lush, virgin and impressive.

Unique Caño Negro is one of the most amazing trips for incredible bird watching ( on dry season ) and wildlife in Costa Rica. Our tour leaves La Fortuna at 7:30 a.m. On the way to Caño Negro you will have the opportunity to learn about agriculture plantations that Costa Rica raise such as yuca, papaya, pineapple, sugar cane and orange.
