We were booked to do the kayak tour but ahead of time were told this would not be possible because of the high, faster flowing than usual, river, and would we be ok with the raft trip instead? We were happy with that and it turned out to be great. We’re a family of four (2 teenagers) and had a raft to ourselves with our fantastic guide (Peter/Pedro) who pointed out a great deal of wildlife along the way. We saw many crocodiles, playful (naughty!) Howler monkeys, snakes (including Boa Constrictor), a sloth, birds (including kingfishers), lizards (including Jesus Christ Lizard) and had a lovely relaxing, float down the river (with a few mini rapids in places which made me glad we didn’t kayak).
The snacks (tacos, cheese, grilled banana) and little talk about chocolate at the end was a nice finishing touch. To hold the cocoa bean, shell it, grind it and then make your own little cup of hot chocolate was great! (And means we don’t now need to do some expensive Chocolate Tour!). The organisation from pick up to drop was excellent (including many opportunities for toilet stops – important to know and makes you less worried about having that cup of coffee with breakfast!). Wonderful, knowledgeable, very friendly guides that really make the trip. Thank you all. Would definitely recommend.

We did this tour with our three daughters and luckily for us the rain held off. Our guide Joe was really informative about a whole host of topics. Along the way we saw several alligators, monkeys, sloths, iguana and bats together with a myriad of birdlife. The pit stop at the end was also very informative. Highly recommended
