This tour is great for experiencing the beautiful flora and fauna native to Costa Rica, while learning basic kayaking techniques, along the Peñas Blancas river. Your tour guide will identify and provide information about many different species of plants and animals. While you kayak along this slow flowing river you can observe animals like reptiles, sloths, monkeys and others as well as an incredible amount of tropical birds like toucans, herons and kingfishers – all well hidden within the tropical rain forest.
All our Safari Tours finish at Rancho “La Cocina de Tita Yolanda” here we will enjoy a short tour in our garden where we will learn about coffee, chocolate and sugar cane, as well as the importance of these crops for our country, followed by a typical snack and tasting of the final product obtained from those plants.
