The tour begins in La Fortuna, heading out for Hotel Maquenque Ecolodge in Boca Tapada, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we will board a boat to navigate downstream through San Carlos River and upstream through the thrilling San Juan River, filled with exuberant natural beauty.

Once we arrive in El Castillo, we'll stop to enjoy an appetizing lunch. Then, we'll take a walk through the city to the main attraction- the Fortress of the Immaculate Conception. Just a few steps away from the entrance of the fortress, we will find a small museum displaying the town's history. We'll also observe the wide, beautiful view of the river, the powerful El Diablo rapid, and the surrounding jungles on the other side of the fortress.
After visiting these local attractions, we will return to the boat and make our way back though San Juan and San Carlos Rivers to Maquenque Ecolodge where we will stay the night and enjoy the hospitality and tranquility of this uniquely beautiful place.

(Day 2)

We'll start the day off with a typical Costa Rican breakfast, followed by a hike in the Rainforest, a delicious lunch, and then our return trip to La Fortuna in the late afternoon.
